Student placements and work experience
A key aim of the CHSM is to establish and co-ordinate a comprehensive educational program for Cypriot scientists and health professionals, with the objective of strengthening the scientific and technological foundations of the Cyprus health industry and to encourage it to become more competitive internationally through the promotion of associated research activities.
Research projects for graduate and post-graduate students can be hosted at the Center in collaboration with academic centers from Cyprus and abroad. Through the Center, new scientists can be trained in research methodology and the application of state-of-the-art molecular technologies, applicable to diverse fields in biomedicine.
As part of our commitment to the wide scientific community, the core laboratories will be made available to other scientists and students. It is hoped that the sharing of our core facilities will benefit local collaborations and impact positively the standard of research conducted.
